Adi Amar

ph07Adi Amar has been practicing yoga since the age of 16 and has been teaching yoga since she was 21 years old. She has studied with teachers such as Tim Miller, Doug Swenson, Dharma Mittra, Eric Schiffman and many more individuals who have left imprints on her practice and teachings. Her experiences have awakened a internal/external healing process that has cultivated a unique approach to her teachings. Adi has learned that there are multiple modalities to healing mind and body. She offers specific tools for each individual to extend his/her own growth & wisdom within yoga practice. Adi has studied lyengar, Ashtanga, Anusara, Restorative, Pre-Natal, Yin and Theraputic yoga.  She currently teaches Ashtanga and Vinyasa classes, and offers private and semi-private classes that focus on individual needs.  Her approach encourages students to understand where each pose should be felt, rather than being attached to looking like the pose in the picture.  She also incorporates pranayama ( breath control) into her teachings to de-stress and relax the mind and body.

Angela Tong

ph08Angela Tong has been practicing yoga for over 12 years and teaching for 7. Although her primary practice is Ashtanga Yoga as taught by Sri K. Patthabi Jois, she has been highly influenced by vipassana meditation as taught by S.N. Goenka, as well as her work with other senior yoga teachers Richard Freeman, John Friend, Tim Miller, Chuck Miller and Diane Wilson. She holds a Master’s degree in Chinese Medicine from the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine, Portland, Or. and a Bachelor’s in Biology/Botany from the University of Californa at Santa Cruz.

Sarah Kline

Sarah Kline began her practice of yoga in the early 1990’s when she traveled to Lenox, Massachusetts to study at the Kripalu Center.  Sarah’s Hatha practice is inspired by the teachings of her instructors: Stephen Cope, Shiva Rea, David Swensen & Shelley Washington, Rama Birch, Andrea Boyd & Jeffrey Cohen, and Tom & Noele Pace. Sarah’s Vinyasa classes are vigorous yet fun. Trained in psychology and counseling, Sarah deeply understands how yoga practice benefits the mind and the body and shares this with her students.

Jaia Mariposa

Jaia Mariposa is a Kripalu Certified Yoga Instructor.  She has been studying movement for over 27 years.  She encourages her students to find freedom and creativity through movement.  Jaia’s teaching style is rooted from the study of many forms of dance, martial arts, extreme sports, and fitness.  Her daily practice includes many schools of yoga, such as Anusara, Iyengar, Kripalu, and Kundalini.

Niki Sue Mueller

Niki Sue in Warrior IINiki Sue Mueller has been practicing yoga for over eight years and teaching for five. Her primary practice is Ashtanga Yoga as taught by Sri K. Patthabi Jois. She has completed beginner and several advanced teacher trainings with Richard Freeman. She’s also studied with Tim Miller, David Williams, David Swenson, Judith Lassiter, Dana Baptiste and many others.  In her spare time, she enjoys paragliding, skiing, mountain biking and playing with her Alaskan malamutes.
