About Sundari:

The word “Sundari” means beauty or beautiful one. In any class taught by Sundari, she will hold the space for you to feel your own inner radiance, that vibration which reflects your own divinity. Thirty years of Sundari’s life has evolved the practice and study of yoga. She began teaching yoga in 1987 after graduating from the Iyengar Yoga Institute and holds certifications in Massage and Cranial Sacral Therapy. Sundari met John Friend in 1996 and became his student in this tantric-based practice. A certified Anusara teacher, her allegiance to this powerful and heart-opening system has brought her years of premiere knowledge in the field of yoga and yoga therapeutics.

For the past three years she has dedicated this practice to the rehabilitation and on going recovery from a near death accident that left her unable to walk at the time. Sundari’s gift in sensitivity, humor, and expertise holds the highest intention for the student to reveal their own inner beauty and true nature. She currently teaches in Jackson Hole, Wyoming and travels both nationally and internationally teaching yoga therapeutics and trainings. Visit: www.itsonlyadance.com

Anusara yoga’s remarkable growth is due in large part to its uplifting philosophy, epitomized by a “celebration of the heart,” that looks for the good in all people and all things. — Anusara.com
