May Schedule Changes

Beginning in May the Tuesday and Thursday 9 am classes will go until 11:00 am and the Yoga Basics Classes will begin at 11:00 am.  Thursday 6 pm class will become Therapeutic Thursdays .  Wednesday and Friday 9 am class will become a one and a half hour class and finish at 10:30.  We have a new teacher at the Shala!  Heather Hannan will be teaching Wednesday evenings from 5:30 – 7:00 pm.  Heather is a wonderful and inspiring teacher so be sure to check out her classes!

Welcome Heather!

We’re proud to welcome a wonderful, new teacher to the studio, Heather Hannan! Heather has a lot of yoga experience and training and is a caring teacher who has a vast knowledge of alignment. She’ll be guiding you through a fabulous flow class Wednesday evenings 5:30 – 7:00.

Her bio:

I gravitated toward yoga in the mid-90’s seeking a physical balance to my active mountain lifestyle.  I was introduced to Anusara and studied under this system for many years. In 2003 I began to explore other yoga systems. At this time I became a certified instructor through the Yoga Alliance.

This period of my life lead me to a deep appreciation for Vinyasa. The act of connecting my mind, body and spirit in a moving meditation has become an indispensable tool for self discovery and healing. Yoga has enriched my life on many levels.  My hope is to create an inspired and creative flow class where others may tap into their full potential.
